Mythes, rêves et mystères

Les textes réunis dans ce volume ne constituent pas à proprement parler une étude systématique des rapports existant entre certaines structures de l’univers religieux – les mythes ou les mystères – et l’univers onirique. Ceux-ci ne peuvent pas passionner les psychologues, voire les philosophes, tout aussi bien que les historiens des religions ; or ce n’est que grâce à une série très rigide de cloisons que l’on s’use encore à isoler les disciplines que la nouveauté des découvertes récentes, par certains côtés, a rendu solidaires. Les sociologues fixés dans une esthétique orthodoxe y trouveront d’ailleurs un nombre fort limité de renseignements utiles. En revanche, je voudrais ne pas négliger les résultats des différentes démarches de l’esprit. Plutôt que des confusions, la méthode la plus sûre, en Histoires des Religions comme partout ailleurs, nous obligera d’atteindre un niveau fondamental de références, quitte à intégrer ensuite ces résultats contre toute tentative d’analyses simplistes et stérilisantes.

THE NEW HISTORY OF PSYCHOLOGY: A Review and Critique

In the past 30 years, the “new history of psychology” and its adherents have advocated a critical approach to scholarship, increased use of primary sources, a focus on sociopolitical forces, and the active inclusion of psychologists from underrepresented groups. This article argues that many scholars exaggerate the differences between old and new history of psychology, and that where the differences are indeed large, those discrepancies reveal certain limitations unique to the new history approach. These limitations, presented in the form of 5 questions posed to new historians, lead to a discussion of professional issues in the history of psychology.

Построена матрица категориального строя психологии, включающая в себя 35 категорий, объединенных в плеяды и кластеры. Плеяды категорий – это биоцентрические, протопсихологические, базовые психологические, метапсихологические и экстеропсихологические (социоцентрические) категории. Категории объединены в кластеры causa sui (самопричинность), направленность, активность, когнитивность, пристрастность, событийность, действительность.
