Общее языкознание

Применительно к языкознанию можно сказать, что объектом языкознания являются все тексты, устные и письменные, созданные на том или ином языке (или на всех вообще известных языках), т. е. речь, а предметом языкознания является язык, т. е. некая общая сущность, извлекаемая нами из этих текстов. Благодаря знанию языка (кода) мы понимаем тексты, созданные на данном языке, и сами можем создавать тексты. Само же знание языка и сам язык мы извлекаем из текстов. Ребенок научается языку, слушая речь взрослых (устные тексты), точно так же, через тексты, мы изучаем иностранные языки, и точно так же, через тексты, языковед исследует тот или иной язык
